HOW TO MAKE A GIFT – matching gifts

Does your employer offer matching gifts? Donors or their spouses may work for, serve on the board of, or be retired from, a company that will match their gifts to the Eagle Promise Charitable Fund (EPCF). Countless corporations and companies nationwide participate in matching gift plans that allow you to double or triple the impact of your gift!

Request a matching gift form from your human resources department. Donors should follow their company’s procedures, which usually involves filling out the form and sending it to the EPCF with their gift. Please send your gift with the matching gift form to the following: Eagle Promise Charitable Fund; Attention: Terry R. Mallett, 1661 Winter Camp Trail, Hedgesville, WV 25427.

Note: Matching gifts from employers are not eligible to be included in pledge payments for special projects. Gift pledges to the Eagle Promise Charitable Fund may be fulfilled only through payments from the donors of their gifts. The Eagle Promise Charitable Fund, however, will give the appropriate gift credit for your total gift(s) [personal gift and matching gift] made to the Eagle Promise Charitable Fund and its donor recognition programs. If you have any questions concerning Matching Gifts please Contact us.
